Our Aim
We highlight the women’s role
- We have created a dynamic project driven by our passion for wine and we have expanded our activity to other wine regions collaborating with other professional women in the wine sector (oenologists, grape- growers, wine-makers, sommeliers) who advise us and inspire us. We pay tribute to anonymous women on our labels.
- Our company and wines image has been created by two women designers linked to our project. Our community manager belongs to Anonimas Viticultoras team from the very beginning.

We are continuously experimenting
At Anonimas viticultoras, we experiment with new wine-makings every harvest. For example, we make a wine with the indigenous
white grape variety Ratiño, a red wine made after a carbonic maceration, another red wine made from Mencia variety grapes and aged in ‘Botas’
recovered from Palo Cortado sherry, a white wine made from Albariño and Godello grapes in D.O. Rias Baixas. We keep experimenting!!!!
We try to recover, maintain and enhance old vineyards and indigenous grape varieties such as Caiño tinto, Ratiño or Mencia in D.O. Rias Baixas in order to produce landscape wines that were a true reflection of the region of origin. As far as possible, we carry out and control all stages of production, from pruning to wine marketing, following sustainable viticulture practices that respect the environment.
We seek to to recover old vineyards and minority varieties
using respectful practices
VINEYARD MANAGEMENT:
- We carry out responsible vineyard treatments: we do not use weed killers, insecticides or anti-botrytis.
- We maintain the vegetation cover by planting species that are good for the soil structure and balance (mustard, oats, white clover)
- We follow manual practices such as winter pruning, tying, green pruning, leaf stripping, de-leafing and manual harvesting in 20 kg crates.
WINE CELLAR MANAGEMENT:
- During winemaking, we accompany the grapes, musts and wines without fixed protocols, allowing them to express their authentic character by adapting to the specific conditions of each year.
- We do not work with additives and are committed to minimising sulphur use through alternative practices such as the dry ice usage to inert musts, skins and wines; reducing musts and wines racking to avoid oxidation, and using fermentation lees as a natural protector against oxidation.
We want to bring wine culture closer
to the young generations
This sector traditionally shows a very classical and exclusive image, with its specific and complicated terminology and rituals can be a barrier for a major part of the people, specially the young generations.
At Anonimas Viticultoras we attempt to bring wine closer to the public in a friendly, easy and natural way, communicating passion and complicity.
